Tina began practicing law in North Carolina in 2002. Her employer at that time encouraged her to focus on litigation as a specialty. She did, and she has never looked back. Tina's experience in all types of dispute resolution is a tremendous asset to her in assisting her clients. She is as happy to resolve a matter without a trial as she is to litigate aggressively when needed. Her measuring stick for success is always her client. She first determines their goals and then counsels them on the best approach for achieving victory.
Tina is called upon by the other attorneys in CGA to work with clients on all manners of civil and commercial litigation. She is at home in courts, agencies and informal settings. She is well grounded in evidence and procedure and has become experienced in trial tactics and the presentation of evidence. Tina's clients have been pleased with her skill, aggressiveness, hard work and ingenuity. She has experience in:
- Business disputes
- Breach of contracts
- Fraud
- Estate Litigation
- Municipal Litigation
- Torts
- Liens and judgements
- Construction matters
- Real estate matters
- Landlord / tenant matters
Tina brings a problem-solver's eye to litigation. She recognizes that contemporary disputes often demand innovative strategies and legal measures. Because much of her experience involves business disputes, she knows that a loss in the court of public opinion may cost a client far more than a win in the courtroom. Her sophisticated litigation strategy regularly requires coordinated input from other practices coupled with consideration of public relations. Her litigation effort may be combined with activities in non-courtroom forums, such as in a legislative, regulatory, political or public setting. Tina is experienced in arbitrating cases before private parties and administrative bodies.
In her own words, Tina's driving principle in all she does is "helping people." In addition to helping her clients, she generously donates her time and expertise to a number of civic organizations in York County focused on improving the quality of life in our community. At the core, she is about service to others.
